Patricia & Paul's Celebrates Grand Opening Saturday

Patricia & Paul's Artisans of Fine Oils and Balsamics will celebrate its official grand opening at 20 Elm Street at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8.

Customers are invited to stop in and meet the owners, Westfield couple Patricia Hanigan and Paul Mecca, and familiarize themselves with a wide variety of olive oils and balsamics. Hanigan noted that in addition to sampling delicious offerings, visitors will receive 15 percent off on purchases made throughout the day. They will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a gift basket.

"We have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people from Westfield and the surrounding towns, we would love for everyone to drop by and discover all the delicious healthy items we offer," said Hanigan, who opened the shop, her first venture as an independent retailer, in April.

All of Patricia & Paul's oils and balsamics come from the award-winning, California-based Veronica Foods. Forty stainless steel fustis (pronounced foo-stee-s) filled with high-quality yet affordable oils and balsamics line the custom-made cabinets created by fellow Westfielder Russell Heard. Hanigan explained the most popular is the Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, which is excellent for dipping, dressings, or marinades. 

Patricia & Paul Artisans of Fine Oils and Balsamics, located at 20 Elm St., is open Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. and Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The store is closed Mondays. For more information, call 908-232-EVOO.
