Public Invited To Honor MLK Jr. At Westfield High Presentation
Motivational speaker Dr. Michael Fowlin will speak to the school and community in a free presentation at Westfield High School on Jan. 21

Westfield, NJ -- The Westfield High School will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a public presentation by motivational speaker Dr. Michael Fowlin.
The community presenation by Fowling will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium at 550 Dorian Road. He will also be presenting to the entire school body earlier in the day.
Fowlin, better known as Mykee, is an internationally recognized motivational speaker and diversity trainer who will utilize his acting skill and psychology training to bring his message of tolerance, acceptance and inclusion to the Westfield school community.

“In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who stated, ‘Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education,’ Mykee will help our students in their development of strong character and sound ethics,” stated WHS Principal Peter Renwick.
“These social and emotional qualities are just as important to the full development of our students as their academics and extracurricular activities,” he added.
