Shots Fired Outside Applebee's In Union County: 1 Charged, 3 Others At Large
Four men went into the restaurant around midnight on Sunday and chased another man outside before firing gunshots, said police.

LINDEN, NJ — A teenager was charged and three other men remain at large following a shooting outside Applebees in Linden on Sunday.
At around midnight on Sunday, Linden Police Officers responded to Applebees, at 671 W. Edgar Rd, on reports of shots fired.
According to initial reports, four men came to the restaurant, and after finding the victim, chased him out of the restaurant.

Once outside, several shots were fired, said police.
No injuries were reported, and the suspects fled the scene.

Officers found two men matching the suspect's description near the intersection of W. 15th Street and S. Stiles Street.
As Officers confronted the men, they tried to run, said police.
After a short struggle, a 17-year-old Newark resident was taken into custody, and two handguns were recovered, said police.
The remaining suspects remain at large.
Juvenile complaints were filed against the 17-year-old for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
He was detained in the Essex County Juvenile Detention Facility pending an appearance in Family Court.
