Tony Award Winner Michele Pawk Visits Cast and Crew of 'Seussical the Musical'

Tony Award winner Michele Pawk, who starred in the original Broadway cast of 'Seussical,' visited the cast and crew of Roosevelt Intermediate School’s 'Seussical the Musical.'

She gave them a psych talk prior to their opening night and students were treated to a question and answer session where they heard, first hand, about her experiences as a Broadway star. Pawk starred as Mayzie LaBird in the 2000 production of 'Seussical,' which played the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

For those interested in studying with Broadway stars this summer, Pawk (with her husband John Dossett – Star of Broadway’s 'Newsies') will be teaching at The Actor’s Camp at Mountainside. Tickets for Seussical are on sale now. The performances are: Friday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 (in advance), $10 (at the door.)
