Union County To Hold Expungement Clinic
This clinic is an extension of Commissioner Chairman Sergio Granados's "Second Chance" initiative.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — The Union County Board of County Commissioners announced a second Expungement Clinic, as an extension of Commissioner Chairman Sergio Granados’s “Second Chance” initiative, through his Chairman’s theme of “Building a Stronger Union County” for 2023.
"Our mission is clear: to break down the barriers that minor convictions impose, unlocking new employment and housing opportunities for our county residents," said Commissioner Chairman Sergio Granados. "This clinic will serve as a guiding light for those struggling with past convictions, providing the necessary support and resources for navigating the expungement process. Over 300 county residents were in attendance at our last clinic and it is my hope that others seeking guidance will join us on December 20th. This clinic reflects our dedication to creating a more inclusive and supportive community for all."
The free clinic will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Warinanco Sports Center in Warinanco Park, located at 1 Park Drive in Roselle. Attorneys will be present to assist individuals in obtaining expungement.
