A 21-year-old Union County man was arrested on Thursday for the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl he met over the internet.
A 21-year-old Linden man was arrested on Thursday for the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl he met over the internet.
According to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, Thomas Glavas arranged to pick the teenager up from her Middlesex County home after they met through a social media site.
Glavas took her back to his home in Linden, allegedly giving the girl alcohol and marijuana before he sexually assaulted her.

He is charged with second-degree sexual assault, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.
