Union Restaurant Owner Convicted Of Sexual Contact With Young Employee
The young girl was working for Adam Yeung, 46, at his Union Township restaurant when the criminal sexual contact occurred.
UNION, NJ — A Union Township restaurant owner has been convicted of sexual offenses against a young girl while under his employment, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel announced Thursday.
Adam Yeung, 46, was convicted Tuesday on charges of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact following a jury trial before Union County Superior Court Judge Caulfield.
The sexual offenses were reported to the Union Police Department which prompted an investigation led by Detective Gregory Mulholland.

The investigation found that the juvenile was victimized by Yeung in 2021 while under his employment, according to Union County Assistant Prosecutors Bryan Tiscia and Peter Arre, who prosecuted the case.
"We are grateful for the thorough investigation from the Union Police Department that aided our
Office in bringing this suspect to justice," Daniel said. "We hope this conviction can bring some small measure of comfort to the victim and her family."

Sentencing is tentatively scheduled for May 12 before Caulfield, at which time Yeung can face a sentence of up to five years in State Prison, on his third-degree conviction.
