UPDATE: Man Who Decapitated Chickens In Union County Did The Same To Goat Last Year

Leonard L. Edwards Jr., the man arrested for decapitating several chickens in a Linden cemetery last week also mutilated a goat last April - police called the act a “ritual sacrifice,” according to nj.com.

Wharton police said Edwards decapitated a goat near a public park last year, but they were unable to book him since it did not happen in the park and because the manner in which he committed the act correlated with a religious ritual, according to nj.com.
