Maria Fernandes may have been napping between one of the four jobs she held when she died in her 2001 Kia Sportage parked behind an Elizabeth AutoZone on Monday, according to nj.com.
Police suspect the 32-year-old Elizabeth resident kept her car running while she napped and was overcome by the mixture of carbon monoxide and gasoline fumes from a gas container that tipped over in her vehicle, according to nj.com.
