WATCH: Student Makes Video On History Of Westfield Public Schools

Westfield High School 2016 graduate, Jonathan Bergman completed the project as part of a summer internship.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The public is invited to view a student-created video entitled "The History of the Westfield Public Schools."

Westfield High School 2016 graduate, Jonathan Bergman completed the project as part of a summer internship just a few days before heading to American University this August.

Much of the content had been shared with the school district over the years from files in the Westfield Historical Society.

Through a county grant awarded to the school district, a multitude of historical photos and documents were digitized.

“The result is a true partnership of community, school and student,” stated Dr. Margaret Dolan, Superintendent of the Westfield Public Schools. “I hope you enjoy watching the birth and development of the Westfield Public Schools – the beginning of our Tradition of Excellence.”
