Westfield, NJ -- A former restaurant owner and Westfield realtor is going viral with a weekly video blog he has created to highlight tasty foods around the area.

He joined Coldwell Banker in Westfield a couple of years ago but his love of food still remained.

“I always wanted to do a food blog,” Damesek told Patch. “I didn’t want to review, I just wanted to talk about what I like. That’s sort of how the idea came together for the blog. I’m just doing it for fun.”
Westfield local Damesek has created 17 episodes so far. His high school sons Jaden and Drew also join in on the fun. And they make it fun, in one episode you can see Damesek ordering an entire cake and eating it on the sidewalk.

Damesek takes viewers to his favorite spots to eat around Union County, including Westfield, Scotch Plains, Summit, Cranford, Union and more. He orders his favorite dish from the place and talks about what makes it so tasty.
What started as something fun for Damesek and his sons has been growing. Each week there is anywhere between 100 to 150 views, Damesek said.
