Westfield's Edison Intermediate School art educators presented a workshop on Writing and Illustrating Your Own Children's Book

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield's Edison Intermediate School art educators, Alison Hooper and Helen Frees, presented a workshop on Writing and Illustrating Your Own Children's Book at the Annual Conference of the Art Educators of New Jersey in Long Branch on Oct. 11.
The hands-on workshop incorporated the children's book, Wrong Way, which was illustrated by Alison and written by her mother, Shirley Hooper.
The art instructors participating in the workshop were introduced to a variety of activities to inspire elementary students to write, illustrate and incorporate technology to create their own imaginative story.
