Westfield BOE Meeting To Include Bond Information

Public invited tonight, Jan. 19 to learn more about the bond referendum up for vote on Jan. 26

Westfield, NJ -- The Westfield Board of Education will host its third public meeting tonight about the school bond referendum that will go up for vote on Jan. 26.

The third meeting will be held in conjunction with the BOE’s regularly scheduled meeting. This meeting will be held tonight, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Board of Education building, 302 Elm Street, Room 105.

There are two proposals in the bond; one which addresses important safety, security, and technology renovations in the Westfield Public Schools, and the second reflecting needed upgrades to intermediate school auditoriums. A total of 40 percent of the costs of all the projects will be funded by the State, if the bond is approved.

  • Thursday, Jan. 21, 10:15 a.m. – Board of Education building, 302 Elm Street, Room 105 (This meeting will be hosted by the Parent Teacher Council and the schools’ PTOs).
