Westfield Coach To Host Bootcamp Benefiting Veterans
Proceeds from the 1-hour bootcamp class on Sunday will go to The Mission Continues, a non-profit in support of veterans coming home.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Patrick Tuohy, longtime Westfield resident and coach of the Westfield High School Varsity Lacrosse team, is hosting a Bootcamp workout class on Sunday to benefit veterans.
Tuohy, owner of X-tra Mile Fitness in Cranford will host the one hour bootcamp class where participants pay $20 (suggested donation) or more which will be donated to The Mission Continues, a non-profit in support of veterans who are newly adjusting to life back home.
The bootcamp will be held at the fitness studio located at 39A Myrtle Street in Cranford.

Tuohy, also the Co-Owner of Transition Lacrosse, was raised in Westfield and graduated from Westfield High School where he was Captain of both the football and lacrosse teams before attending Roanoke College and joining the United States Marine Corps.
Tuohy graduated from Roanoke College in 2006 and worked his way to Platoon Sergeant/Commander in the U.S. Marine Corps where he trained more than 100 Marines. He served two tours between February 2003 and September 2004 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Tuohy has also been the Head Varsity Coach of the Westfield High School Lacrosse team since 2008 in addition to the Union Mudturtles Men’s Rugby Team since 2013.
