WESTFIELD, NJ - A 9' by 4' patriotic piece of pizza will be revealed to patrons at 7 p.m. Saturday as Outta Hand Pizza will reveal the largest flag siciliano pie in the world.

In his first year of operation, Outta Hand Pizza owner Burim Regjaj has been going big with moves in the community. His eatery won the Westfield Area YMCA Pizza Palooza contest, he piloted a program to feed American veterans, rallied the community behind a single motheron the verge of losing her home and hosted Pizza With Police for the Westfield Police Department.

But this Saturday may be the biggest event yet as Regjaj is creating the pie to honor Westfield first responders.

"In honor of our incredible Westfield Police Department headed by Chief Chris Battiloro, EMS, Westfield Fire Department," he said.

He also noted the flag pizza is meant to honor local Veterans, servicemen and servicewomen of US Armed Forces.

Regjaj told Patch that the idea was his and that it started small, and then quickly "turned into this."

"This will be the largest served," Regjaj said. "Three pies stitched together as one."

While it is unclear if Battiloro will partake in the pie, the chief has told Patch previously he has a favorite slice from Outta Hand.

"My favorite slice is buffalo chicken," he said. "And Outta Hand has the best buffalo chicken slice around."

The 9' by 4' pizza will be shown to the public at the lower level parking of lot 3 at the Westfield Train Station on South Avenue. After the pizza is served, live tunes by The Unknown Legends will be followed by Outdoors Movie "Jumanji" starring Robin Williams at 8:30 p.m.

Regjaj said he will be submitting his creation to the Guiness Book of World Records.
