Westfield Increases Pay Rate For Substitute Teachers

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Board of Education approved a $10 increase in the daily pay rate for substitute teachers in the Westfield Public School District recently.

Substitute teachers will now be paid $90 per day, with that amount increasing after 76 cumulative days to $95 and at 151 cumulative days to $110, according to the district.

Substitute teachers looking to apply can visit the Human Resources Office at 302 Elm St. The deadline to submit an application is April 1.
