Westfield Reminds Residents Of New Snow Ordinances
The two ordinances prohibit parking on any street when there is snow and residents can not throw snow or ice into the street or sidewalk.

WESTFIELD, NJ — With winter upon us and impending hazardous weather on the horizon for this Christmas weekend, Westfield is reminding residents of the new snow and safety-related town ordinances that went into effect on Nov.24.
The new ordinances include:
- Section 13-16. Parking Prohibited.
Whenever snow has fallen and there is an accumulation of three inches or more on any street, no vehicle shall be parked on any street in the Town of Westfield. This prohibition shall remain in effect until and after the snowfall has ceased and the street has been plowed following the cessation of the snowfall.
