Westfield Teachers Sharpen Tech Skills
Westfield Public School teachers and staff sharpened existing technology skills or gained new knowledge this summer.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Public School teachers and staff sharpened existing technology skills or gained new knowledge this summer during week-long workshops presented by Jeanine Gottko, a Master Technology Teacher in the district.
Approximately 70 attendees selected workshops of their choice, including Google Drive for Beginners, Google Classroom for Beginners, Basic Technology Tools, Interactive Lessons, Kick Google Apps/Classroom into Overdrive, and The New Google Forms: Digital Assessments.
“The goal of the sessions was to help increase teacher knowledge of various educational technology platforms, mainly Google Apps for Education, so they could implement them in the classrooms this year,” stated Ms. Gottko, who is shown providing technical assistance to attendees.
