Young people contribute to the success of Redeemer's Vacation Bible School 2013

At Redeemer Lutheran Church, the week of July 29th, parents & grandparents shared their appreciation with the volunteers of Redeemer Vacation Bible School program.  Stories were told of how their children could not wait to share what they learned about God each day and also how excited the children were to return to the next day's Redeemer Vacation Bible School program. At Redeemer Lutheran Church, over ninety children rotated to each station of craft, music, snack, recreation, Bible story skit, Bible video. Each day, four year olds to 5th graders moved through activity stations with the guidance of the adult & junior Kingdom Crew leaders.

Every VBS station was intentionally-designed to reinforce the daily Bible Point in a hands-on, interactive way. The volunteer station leaders had been planning, prepping & anticipating the execution of each day's Bible lesson for several months. What a blessing to see young adults volunteer and thus contribute back to the community. To witness the team of Redeemer volunteers of all ages serve together in an exciting and enriching manner as the Word of God was shared. Parents & caregivers were encouraged to participate in the Opening and Closing segments of the daily VBS program where the contemporary singing with accompanying hand motions was infectious.

Redeemer VBS 2013 Kingdom Rock where Kids Stand Strong for God was a wonderful high energy, fun filled week- long program to share God's Word and His promise of salvation with each child & their families.  We want to express our gratitude to the VBS families for the generous and tangible support of the two Redeemer VBS Missions with the non-perishable food items donations for the Westfield Food Pantry & the donations of  diapers, baby wipes and formula for the Life Choices Pregnancy Center. We want to thank all the volunteers who served at Redeemer's Vacation Bible School. What a wonderful experience seeing the body of Christ serving together!
