Another N.J. Suspect Charged In Essex County Cab Murder
Authorities have arrested a second suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a cab driver in Essex County, N.J.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Authorities have arrested a second suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a cab driver in Essex County.
On Thursday, police arrested Sheedley Pierre, 20, of Orange, charging him with murder, robbery and conspiracy in connection with the death of Jonas Larose, 55, of East Orange.
The Nov. 30 shooting took place on the 200 block of Snyder Street in Orange. Prosecutors previously stated that Orange police officers arrived on Snyder Street around 11 p.m. on a report of a car crash. When police arrived on the scene, they discovered that the crashed cab’s driver, Larose, was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

On Dec. 2, police arrested and charged a 16-year-old Essex County teen with murder, robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and forgery.

Authorities took Pierre into custody on Thursday following a continued investigation, police said.
