ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Looking for a fireworks display to help celebrate Independence Day 2018 in Essex County, New Jersey? Patch has you covered.

As part of its 2018 Essex County Free Summer Music Concert Series, the county will host three concert/fireworks spectaculars at Branch Brook Park, Weequahic Park and Brookdale Park. (Learn more here)

Fireworks take place on the following dates:
- Friday, June 29 - Essex County Branch Brook Park, Heller Parkway, Newark: Concert by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and a Fireworks Spectacular, 7:30 p.m.
- Monday, July 2 - Essex County Weequahic Park, Newark: Concert by the Motor City Revue and a Fireworks Spectacular, 7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 3 - Essex County Brookdale Park, Bloomfield/Montclair: Concert by the Belletones and Total Soul, and a Fireworks Spectacular, 7:30 p.m. (UPDATE): The Essex County Summer Concert featuring The Belle Tones and Total Soul and the Fireworks Spectacular in Essex County Brookdale Park was cancelled for July 3 because of inclement weather. The fireworks display is rescheduled to Friday, July 13th in Brookdale Park. A concert featuring Billy Gilman, who was a finalist on NBC’s “The Voice,” will be at 7:30 p.m. followed by the fireworks.
