Class of 2013 NASA graduate Victor Glover paid a visit to students at Liberty Middle School.

West Orange, NJ – If you ever get a chance to sit down with Class of 2013 NASA graduate Victor Glover, ask him about what it takes to be an astronaut.

He’ll have some good advice.

On May 6, Glover and U.S. Congressman Rodney Freylinghuysen paid a visit to 50 students at Liberty Middle School in West Orange, including the seventh grade honors social studies students and eighth grade STEM Club members.

"He also inspired our students by saying that their skills and talents are needed to further space exploration in the future and carry on the mission of exploring life beyond Earth," Klemt added.

Glover’s visit came just a few weeks before NASA’s famous astronaut twins Scott and Mark Kelly returned to West Orange for a school renaming and Mayoral Medal award ceremony on May 19.
