BORST LANDSCAPE & DESIGN SPONSORS PET FOOD DRIVE FOR FAMILIES IN NEED Clients and Local Community Encouraged to Donate Wet and Dry Dog or Cat Food

Borst Landscape & Design <http://www.borstlandscape.com/> , headquartered in Allendale, announced today that it will be hosting a pet food drive through Companion Animal Advocates (CAA), a Bergen County charity whose mission is to keep pets with their family.  The drive will be held from December 18th – January 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at Borst headquarters at 260 West Crescent Avenue in Allendale, N.J. Clients and area residents are asked to donate new unopened dog or cat food or treats.  A bin will be located inside Borst’s office where donors may deposit their donations. (*Please note that the office will be closed the week of December 24th and will re-open on January 2nd.)



All of the pet food that is collected will be donated to CAA's Operation Feed-A-Pet program that has donated more than 144,000 lbs. of pet food to the clients of the Center for Food Action in Mahwah, Ringwood and Saddle Brook as well as the Social Service Association of Ridgewood and Vicinity, Inc.

Borst. “Community-based food banks and pantries help families keep their pets that otherwise might be surrendered to a local shelter because they can’t afford to feed them. We understand that animals are in need of love and food and we hope that the community will come out and support those that are less fortunate.”
