Restaurant Will Be Closed During Construction Phase and its Sister Restaurant, The Melting Pot of White Plains, Will Pay for Gas and Tolls for Bergen and Rockland County Residents Who Crave Fondue!
The Melting Pot of Westwood, Bergen County's premiere fondue eatery, is being remodeled to give guests an even more memorable dining experience. The restaurant will close for one week in mid April as construction crews revamp its interior and exterior spaces.
"We are very excited to bring a new look and feel to The Melting Pot of Westwood," said Tara Masterson, general manager of The Melting Pot of Westwood. "For almost 10 years, we have been providing excellent food and quality service to our valued customers and we are now committed to providing the "FUN-do affair" in an environment that enhances the fondue dining experience."

The restaurant will be closed from Tuesday, April 16 to Monday, April 22, 2013. The major renovations include painting, installation of new upholstery and carpets and replanting of the outdoor garden. Capacity for the restaurant will remain at nearly 149, but there will be additional seating on an outdoor patio during the summer months for patrons interested in refreshing cocktails and cheese or chocolate fondues outside.
While the restaurant is under construction, The Melting Pot of Westwood's sister restaurant, The Melting Pot of White Plains, will eimburse Bergen and Rockland county patrons for their tolls and gas ($10) if they dine at the restaurant. This will allow Westwood's loyal patrons an uninterrupted dining service. Guests simply mention "Westwood Makeover" to a server to receive the travel reimbursement (one per table).
