Acting 1 for ages 6-9 uses interactive theatre games and dramatic story telling so children can learn to express themselves both verbally and non-verbally. By showing rather than telling, personal and creative freedom is encouraged in a nurturing environment. The result is a flowering of self-expression, which can be applied in their everyday lives.  The workshop is on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. Cost $350.
Acting 2 for ages 10-13 begins with sensory work and moves on through basic acting techniques. Students are taught through the use of theatre games, role playing and improvisation to physicalize rather than verbalize their thoughts and emotions. During the course of the year, students work on problem solving in scenes and improvisations. This workshop is held on Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:45p.m. Cost $385.Taught by Michael Bias,Artistic/Producing Director of The Garage

Acting 3 for ages 13 -18 joins basic and advanced acting techniques through relaxation exercises, sensory work, sense memory technique, character development, monologues and scene study. The class promotes an exchange of ideas and a forum for communication. Students develop a sense of responsibility and commitment while working together with other young artists.  Acting 3 is held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.  Cost $440.Taught by Michael Bias,Artistic/Producing Director of The Garage
Acting and Scene Study for teens and adults will be held on Monday evenings from 7:00-10:00 p.m. This workshop is an advanced class in technique and scene study. This fee will reserve your spot in class and entitles the student to participate in all Garage Theatre activities including classes, productions and field trips. Since all classes have limited enrollment, early registration is strongly suggested. Priority is given to returning students.
