Are You A Good Cookie?
Come out and support Macaroni Kid's Cookies for Kids Cancer Bake Sale on September 22 2PM to 6PM during Norwood Town Day.

On Saturday, September 22, Macaroni Kid will be having a bake sale during Norwood Town Day to raise money for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a 501(c)3 nonprofit public charity raising money for pediatric cancer research through local bake sales. Gretchen and Larry Witt founded Cookies for Kids' Cancer in 2008, inspired by their son Liam who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2007 at the age of 2. Tragically, Liam came to the end of his courageous 4-year fight with cancer on January 24, 2011 at the age of 6. Though devastated by his loss, the Witts remain more determined than ever to continue the fight against pediatric cancer.
Pediatric cancer is the number one disease killer in the U.S. of children under the age of 18. It kills more children than asthma, AIDS, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis combined. Research funding has made a direct and measurable impact on the survival rates of pediatric cancer. Unfortunately, pediatric cancer receives a very small percentage of the National Cancer Institute’s $4.8 billion annual budget, and almost no research and development dollars from pharmaceutical companies.
Macaroni Kid's goal is to raise $500 during the bake sale. You can help reach our goal by donating: money, time, supplies or baked goods to make the bake sale a huge success.
