Sorry this is getting out late, but tonight (Tuesday) there will be a Remembrance / Memorial Service at Veterans Memorial Park, downtown Westwood by the train station. According to former Mayor, Skip Kelley, the event will begin at 8:00 pm and will be held at the 9/11 Memorial section of the Park and will last about half-an-hour. Mr. Kelley was Mayor of Westwood during the time of the horrific attacks on NYC, DC, and PA.
Following this, there will be a Concert Of Remembrance featuring the Westwood Community Band and other guests. This will occur indoors at the Westwood Community Center at 55 Jefferson Avenue (corner of Jefferson & Center St). The Concert will begin approximately 8:30 - 8:45 pm.
