Abbie Gorin, a teacher, writer and Essex-Newark Legal Services attorney representing tenants and homeowners, will discuss tsedakah as interpreted by Jill Jacobs, executive director of Rabbis For Human Rights—North America, former rabbi-in-residence of Jewish Funds for Justice, and author of There Shall Be No Needy: Pursuing Social Justice Through Jewish Law and Tradition.
