How To Get Free Tickets To Pope's 2015 New York Visit
New York residents can enter a drawing for a chance to see Pontiff travel through the park before Mass Sept. 25.

Pope Francis will travel through Central Park while visiting New York City later this month, the city announced Tuesday.
The announcement stated that the pontiff will travel through some of the park before his Mass at Madison Square Garden Sept. 25.
Tickets are required to enter the event and only New York state residents may attend the gathering.

Those wanting to enter a random drawing for tickets may do so on a special website created for the event. Entrees will be accepted between Sept. 3 and 7.
The Central Park visit will come after a busy day for Francis.

The Pope will address the United Nations General Assembly at 8 a.m., attend a multi-religious service at 9/11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center, and visit Our Lady Queen of Angels School in East Harlem.
