Michael Seeback Named Bergen Sharks Head Coach
He takes over after sudden death of R.J. Anderson

The Bergen Sharks competitive swim team has a new head coach, after the .
Michael Seeback of Bergenfield, who served at the Sharks assistant coach for the past three years at the in Washington Township, has stepped into the lead role.
"R.J.'s death was a tough, substantial loss for the team and for me, personally," Seeback said. "The team and I are committed to building on all that he accomplished and fulfilling many of his dreams as we move forward with the new season."

Seeback graduated from Paramus Catholic High School, where he swam varsity for three years and served as captain of the team his senior year. He graduated from Seton Hall University with a bachelor of science degree in biology.
He has coached swim teams at the Bergenfield Swim Club, Hackensack Golf Club and Kaplen JCC on the Palisades and has been involved in coaching or pool management for the last five years.

The Bergen Sharks team has nearly 200 swimmers between the ages of 5 and 18 who compete in the New Jersey JCC/YM-YWHA Swim League. For more information about the organization, e-mail bergensharks@yjcc.org.
