Westwood Resident Hits the Airwaves on 'Live! with Kelly'

Elaine Minervini appeared on the nationally broadcast morning show with her pets Friday.

Westwood resident Elaine Minervini appeared on the TV show "Live! with Kelly" alongside hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan Friday.

Minervini brought her dog and cat, Georgie and Ceasar, on the show for a reading from pet psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick, who said she can hear animals talking, said Georgie and Ceasar were appreciative of how well their teeth are taken care of. Minervini's husband is a dentist.

"The woman was so right-on," Minervini said.

Minervini said she contacted the show about participating in their "psychic week" because she adopted the pets from a deceased psychic. She and the other pet owners got to wait in the green room and learned a lot about how TV shows are made.

Though she only appeared on TV for about two minutes, Minervini said someone at Westwood's Saturday recognized her voice from the show.

"It was a unique experience for me," Minervini said about doing the show. "I enjoyed it."

While doing the readings, Fitzpatrick advised the pet owners to always tell their pets before they make any big changes or go away on vacation. Minervini said she planned to take the advise.

"They do understand when you talk to them," Minervini said about her pets. "Maybe not in words, but certainly the intention."

Anyone who missed the show Friday can watch Minervini's apprearance here. She is the second pet owner.
