What's the Best Summer Job for Local High School Kids?

With the end of the school year just around the corner, it's a good time for teens to start looking for their summer jobs.

Westwood, Washington Township and the surrounding area offer many potential jobs for students seeking seasonal employment. There are several clubs with pools that may need life guards, such as the , the and the . There are also numerous camps in the area which may need counselors, like Westwood's recreation summer program and other private camps.

Year-round businesses may also need some help during the summer months. Part-time students can help fill gaps left by regular employees who go away on vacation. Downtown Westwood has many small shops and restuarants which may need help. Larger stores and supermarkets, like in Washington Township, are often looking for more staff.
