Justice in the Hands of Poe
Join us October 26 at 7PM at the Woodbridge Main Library for a closer look at Edgar Allan Poe’s haunting language and unmistakable sense of justice through two of his most well-known stories, The Tell-Tale Heart and The Black Cat. We’ll explore Poe’s use of suspense, guilt, psychological tension, and unreliable narrators, while taking a closer look at how his characters face the consequences of their actions. Along the way, participants will discover why Poe’s dark, unsettling stories continue to captivate readers generations later.
