Carteret Man Charged with Woodbridge Car Burglaries
Woodbridge police say they arrested the man wanted for breaking into 10 different cars in Colonia over Memorial Day weekend.

Woodbridge, NJ - Woodbridge police announced Wednesday they arrested the man wanted for breaking into 10 different cars in the Colonia section over Memorial Day weekend.
Russell Rudyk, 46, of Carteret, was arrested on Tuesday. Police say that between 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 29 to 7:30 a.m. on Memorial Day Monday, May 30, he illegally entered a total of ten vehicles parked on Stafford Rd., Ravine Dr., and Beechwood Ct.
He removed loose change, credit cards and some small electronics equipment, police said. All of the vehicles were left unlocked.

Rudyk was charged with eight counts of burglary and two counts of theft. His bail was set at $160,000, no 10% option.
