Banjoist, guitarist, singer, songwriter Roger McGuinn is a pioneer of the folk-rock movement that swept the pop music world in the 1960s. Co-founder of the legendary Byrds, Roger led the group to global acclaim with hits such as “Mr. Tambourine Man”, “Turn, Turn, Turn”, “Eight Miles High”, “So You Want to Be a Rock and Roll Star”, “Jesus Is Just Alright” and more. In his solo career Roger has remained an influential figure in contemporary music with hits like King of the Hill and Someone to Love and performing and recording with many of his musical heroes: Pete Seeger, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Odetta, Jean Ritchie, Tommy Makem and Josh White, Jr. Tickets are $25 in advance, $28 at the door.
