On July 10, we will screen Pan’s Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno), a Spanish-Mexican dark fantasy film written and directed by the prolific Guillermo del Toro. July 17 will feature the contemporary French comedy classic Amélie (Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain) with Audrey Tautou. Jet Li’s Fearless (Huo Yuanjia), a Chinese-Hong Kongese biography about martial arts legend Huo Yuanjia will be shown on July 24 followed by the Brazilian crime drama City of God (Cidade de Deus) on July 31. Our series will end on August 7 with Gloria, a Chilean-Spanish drama about a middle aged divorcée’s relationship with a naval officer.
