Pet Theatre, Zebras and More this Weekend with your Grab & Go Kids Planner

Your top five list of things to do this weekend with the kids.

It’s that time of week already – do you know what you’re going to do with the kids this weekend?  If not, don’t sweat it, Woodbridge Patch has you covered with the Grab and Go Kids Planner.  You know the drill – we find five things going on nearby and give you all the details, in one easy-to-reference place.  We do all the work, all you have to do is get out there and enjoy some nice family events with the kids!  It’s a performance kind of week this week, it seems – four of our five events this weekend are shows to see, from Mickey to Danny and Sandy to circus cats and dogs!

As always, be sure to tell us if you think we forgot something.  And if you know of an event that deserves a mention in this planner in the future, be sure to add it to the calendar!

Russian circus and juggling star Gregory Popovich brings a cast of jugglers, clowns, house cats, dogs, geese, doves, and parrots to the Mayo Performing Arts Center this Sunday.  Family-oriented comedy and impressive acts of balance and juggling will be joined by lovable pets performing in vignettes such as Dog Football, Pet Fire Marshalls, and Funny Winner Dog.  I can’t think of anything that sounds more adorable than something called “Funny Winner Dog,” can you?

Danny and Sandy are back in New Brunswick.  The Broadway production of Grease (#1 Musical of 2007 according to Time) hits New Jersey this Sunday.  Take a trip back to the 50s and check out Laverne & Shirley’s Eddie Mekka and others on stage performing the hits you know and love, from “Greased Lightnin’” to “Summer Nights” to songs from the movie like “You’re the One I Want.”  We dare you not to Hand Jive in your seat.
