Updated: Trespasser Killed, NJ Transit Trains Now On Or Close To Scheduled Between Trenton And Metropark
Trains are now operating on or close to schedule between Trenton and Metropark in Woodbridge.

NJ Transit trains on the Northeast Corridor are now operating on or close to schedule, after a trespasser was killed Friday morning near Metropark, according to NJ Transit.
There were still some residual delays to trains already en route, NJ Transit said on Twitter around 10:15 a.m. Friday.
A trespasser was killed near Metropark on NJ Transit’s Northeast Corridor, temporily suspending service between Trenton and Woodbridge Friday morning.

The service was restored around 7 a.m., but the rail line had up to 90 minute delays both ways between Trenton and Metropark in Woodbridge for much of the morning, according to NJ Transit.
Private Carriers accepted NJ Transit rail tickets and passes between Trenton and Metropark in Woodbridge until shortly after 9 a.m. NJ Transit buses also accepted rail tickets between Trenton and Metropark until shortly after 9 a.m., according to NJ Transit.
