Woodbridge Man Killed By NJ Transit Train Tuesday
An Iselin man, 34, was the person struck and killed by an NJ Transit train Tuesday near the MetroPark station, it has been revealed.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A Woodbridge Twp. man, 34, was the person struck and killed by an NJ Transit train Tuesday near the MetroPark station, Edison police sources told MyCentralJersey.
The fatality happened at around midday Tuesday: The man was struck at 11:30 a.m. while walking on the tracks near MetroPark. The incident shut down NJ Transit and Amtrak along the Northeast Corridor for several hours Tuesday.
The name of the man was not released, but he was an Iselin resident, police told the newspaper. He was struck by a New York City-bound NJ Transit train that left Trenton at 10:41 a.m. He was hit by the train west of the MetroPark station.
