Woodbridge, NJ: Thank You For Reading Patch!

As your local Patch editor, I'm proud to cover a town like Woodbridge, and I want to personally thank you for reading our news coverage.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The hard-working staff at Patch just wanted to take a minute's pause from reporting the news and thank the residents of Woodbridge, New Jersey for reading "The Patch."

Woodbridge is a wonderful community: The town's blue-collar roots and values remain strong, and are evident in the many church festivals, street fairs and pride that residents take in their homes and properties. Woodbridge Twp. also happens to be one of the most well-positioned towns in New Jersey, with easy access to all the major highways, train corridors and business centers of the state, as well as being just a hop, skip and a jump away from the beaches of the Jersey Shore. But despite its "center-of-it-all" location, Woodbridge retains that small-town feel, where neighbors not only say "hello," but look out for each other.

Patch realized this about Woodbridge, and that's why the Woodbridge Patch was one of the first Patch sites in the nation to launch, nearly a decade ago. To this day, the Woodbridge Patch receives more than 200,000 page views a month. Following the success of Woodbridge, there are now more than 100 other "Patch towns" across New Jersey, and more than 1,200 across the United States. That's a lot of local news!
