WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A fire broke out in a backyard shed in Iselin Wednesday morning in Woodbridge and a woman on the property was burned so badly she had to be airlifted for medical help, according to Avenel Fire Official Cory Spillar.
The fire broke out around 11 a.m. on South McKinley Avenue, he said.
The fire started in a shed and a woman, 30, had to be airlifted for burns she suffered. Spillar said that was all he knew at this time; he did not know how the fire started or specifically how the woman was injured.

This comes after just Tuesday night there was a large fire at a pool supply warehouse in Avenel: The fire was at Avenel Pools Warehouse on Lord Street. It looks like the fire started on the roof, and having so many flammable chemicals inside accelerated the fire, said Woodbridge firefighters.
The cause of that fire is not thought to be suspicious.
