Deadline To Submit Access For All Committee Application Is Wednesday

The deadline to submit an application to serve on the Wyckoff Access for All Committee is Wednesday.

The committee, which was formed last month,

Several people, including up to five people with a disability, parent of a child with a disability, or the caregiver of a family member with a disability are needed to serve on the committee.

A member of the local clergy, someone from the township’s office of emergency management, ambulance corps, Rooney, school system, fire department, ambulance corps, and others will serve on the committee, Mayor Kevin Rooney said.

“It’s just another way that we can reach out and help residents who have a mental or physical disability,” said Rooney. “We need to recognized their needs, whether it be fitting into society, finding a job, or something else, and do our best to accommodate them.”
