Eighth-seeded Ramapo Raiders to Face Bergen Catholic in County Tourney
Tourney starts this weekend.

UPDATE 5/11 - According to Baseball coach Mickey Hunt the County Turnament seedings were re-shuffled because Dumont used an ineligible pitcher and had to forfeit a game. So the Raiders are now the 7th seed playing RIDGEWOOD at DEMAREST on Saturday at 10:30.
The Ramapo Raiders (13-5) earned the number eight berth in the 53rd Bergen County Baseball Tournament following Monday night's seeding and will face ninth seed Bergen Catholic in an early 10am game at Emerson High School on Saturday. Overall 20 teams qualified for the tournament with the top seed going to undefeated Don Bosco.

Rounding out the rest of the field are second seeded St. Joseph Regional, Paramus, Dumont, Emerson, Glen Rock, Lyndhurst, Ridgewood (10th seed), Old Tappan, St. Mary, Ramsey, Waldwick, Wallington, Mahwah, Midland Park, Ridgefield, Westwood and Rutherford.
The first round of the Tournament begins with the bottom eight seeds competing for a shot in Saturday's Round of 16. All games are played at the higher seed with Midland Park heading to Mahwah, Ridgefield over to Wallington, Westwood travels to Waldwick and Rutherford looks to knock off Ramsey.

Saturday's Round of 16 will feature a triple-header at Demarest and Emerson High Schools, with a double-header at Lyndhurst High School.
Top seeded Don Bosco will play Midland Park or Mahwah at 12:30pm, with Emerson and St. Mary battling it out at 3pm.
The Demarest games feature a 10:30am match-up between Old Tappan and Glen Rock, followed by St. Joseph tackling either Ridgefield or Wallington at 1pm. Third seeded Paramus takes the field at 3:30pm against Westwood or Waldwick.
The Lyndhurst double-header pits Ridgewood against Lyndhurst at 11:30am, with Dumont taking on either Rutherford or Ramsey at 2pm.
The winning teams from the Round of 16 will compete in the May 21 quarterfinals at either Emerson or Demarest. Demarest will also host the Semifinals on May 28 and Championship Game on May 29.
