Temple Beth Rishon is holding its 10th annual Mitzvah Day on Sunday, April 29th in support of Jewish Family Service of North Jersey (JFS), a non-profit, non-sectarian family and social service agency. Services include mental health counseling, eldercare services, meals on wheels, financial assistance and community outreach.
The community is invited to join congregants to help raise funds which will assist JFS in fulfilling its goal of providing vital services to North Jersey residents. Mitzvah Day activities begin with registration at 9 am and include the annual Mitzvah Walk – a one mile walk around the Temple’s residential neighborhood, craft projects and various collections of items that will benefit JFS families and other non-profit organizations.
