Franklin Lakes School Board Incumbents Announce Reelection Campaign
Eileen Hansen, Joel Rosano, and Kathie Schwartz are seeking three-year terms.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — Three incumbents announced they are running for re-election to the Board of Education.
Eileen Hansen, Joel Rosano, and Kathie Schwartz announced their intention to run for new three-year terms on the nine-member board.
Hansen and Rosano were elected to one-year unexpired terms in November. Schwartz was elected to a one-year unexpired term in 2008, then to a three-year term. She took a year off before she was elected to another three-year term.

"We're all working well together and we all feel the board is working together now," Schwartz said. "There has been a lot of good, open conversation and we want to keep that going."
The candidates issued a joint statement Thursday afternoon.

"During our time on the Board, we have been privileged to work with our fellow board members and our district administration on a number of important initiatives, including our three-year strategic plan, necessary upgrades to our facilities and security infrastructure, a new STEM lab and continuing curriculum improvements. We are ever-mindful of our responsibilities to our students and our fellow taxpayers, and we would be honored to continue to represent you on the Franklin Lakes Board of Education. We wish wish everyone a healthy and relaxing summer."
