Congressman Garrett Hosting Roundtable Discussion With Business Owners Thursday

Seven-time incumbent will talk about issues facing small business owners in Wyckoff.

WYCKOFF, N.J. — Rep. Scott Garrett (R-5th District) will discuss issues facing small business owners in New Jersey, including taxes and healthcare, in the township Thursday.

Garrett invites business owners to participate in a roundtable discussion at the Blue Moon Mexican Cafe at 2 p.m.

Josh Gottheimer, Garrett's opponent, is hosting a similar event Wednesday in Ridgewood.

Garrett has faced much criticism since he reportedly told fellow Republicans during a closed-door meeting last fall that he would no longer donate money to a party fund that had supported gay Congressional candidates., the withdrawal of longtime commercial and private donors, and an ever-decreasing donor base.
