Indian Hills School Board Approves Principal, Assistant Principal For Another Year

Joseph Collins and Daniel Guido have been reappointed to their positions of principal and assistant principal of Indians Hills High School.

The regional school district Board of Education voted to reappoint Collins and Guido at a meeting recently.

Collins’ annual salary will be $165,000 and Guido’s will be nearly $121,000. Both administrators will be in their second year of their respective positions.

The board also approved 1 percent salary increases for other district administrators for the 2014-2015 based on the job performance. The salary increases will be retroactive to July 1, 2014.

In accordance with the district’s contract with the Ramapo Indian Hills Administrators Association, the board also approved 1 percent salary increases for other administrators for the 2014-15 school year based on their meritorious performance.

Superintendent Beverly MacKay reviewed each administrator’s performance evaluations and recommended the raises.

Indians Hills High School Assistant Principal Linda Sisto, who has worked in the district for more than 14 years, will retire July 31.
