Sinead O'Connor Video: Suicidal, In N.J. Motel

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Sinead O'Connor posted a video to her Facebook page Thursday saying that she is suicidal, dealing with mental illness and living in a New Jersey motel.

PageSix.com reports that O'Connor is staying at a Travelodge motel in Hackensack. O'Connor said in the video she is undergoing psychiatric treatment for three mental illnesses.

A weeping O'Connor said she is "all by myself. And there's absolutely nobody in my life except my doctor, my psychiatrist, the sweetest man on earth, who says I'm his hero, and that's about the only thing keeping me alive at the moment... and that's kind of pathetic."

O'Connor said she is suffering from three mental illnesses. She said she is "one of millions," living with mental illness.

"Mental illness, it's like drugs, it doesn't give a s--- who you are, and equally what's worse, it's the stigma, it doesn't give a s--- who you are," O'Connor said. "I want everyone to know what it's like, that's why I'm making this video."

O'Connor, 50, is best known for her 1990 hit "Nothing Compares 2 U." She famously ripped a picture of then-Pope John Paul II while singing on Saturday Night Live in 1992.

People on Twitter, including actress Rose McGowan, expressed their support of O'Connor Monday night.

O'Connor's name was trending on Twitter Monday night.
