Ramapo, Indian Hills Relay For Life Kickoff Dinner Is Wednesday

More than $17,500 has been donated to date. Proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

WYCKOFF, NJ - A dinner and celebration for the Ramapo and Indian Hills high schools Relay for Life walk will be held Wednesday.

Relay For Life is an annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society and held at high schools across the country. Hundreds of people often participate at each school-specific event. They walk around their school’s track all night to raise money for cancer research.

The kickoff dinner Wednesday will be held in the Ramapo High School cafeteria at 7 p.m.. Brian Moran, a cancer survivor, Louis Moore, a caretaker, and Isabel Bayer, a team captain, will speak.

More than 375 people have donated $17,500 to the Ramapo-Indian Hills Relay for Life to date.
