Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Marks Official Opening of Kessler Center for Wound Care in Ramsey

Kessler Center for Wound Care (www.kesslerwoundcare.com), which provides specialized treatment for individuals with chronic wounds, marked the official opening of its new Ramsey clinic with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Ramsey Mayor Christopher C. Botta. Local officials, physicians and community residents attended the event.

            “I am pleased to welcome Kessler Wound Care, and the extended Kessler Institute family, to the Borough of Ramsey,” said Mayor Botta.  “We look forward to them being a wonderful corporate neighbor and an asset to our residents and the community in general.”

            The new, state-of-the-art center, located at 470 North Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey, offers leading-edge treatment to help heal wounds, including diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, radiation injuries to soft tissue and bone, and skin grafts and flaps, and improve the quality of life for its patients.

                  “We are proud to be part of the Ramsey community and to be able to offer people in this area new hope for healing chronic wounds,” said Bruce Pomeranz, M.D., medical director of the center.

            The Kessler Center for Wound Care has partnered with HealogicsTM, the world’s largest wound care management organization, to provide the advanced treatment and proven protocols to effectively treat chronic wounds, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, bioengineered tissues and biosynthetics.   Education, training and community outreach are also part of the Center’s commitment to care excellence.
